Can I open Quickbooks 2007 company file in Quickbooks 2008 with converting?

Hello All,

    I have users that are on Quickbooks 2007 and 2008 Pro. The company files were created in Quickbooks 2007. Whenever Quickbooks 2008 opens a 2007 company file it needs to convert the file. Is their any way for 2008 to open 2007 company files without converting. Or is their a way for 2007 users to open 2008 company files after the conversion.

I found out that I can not use a previous company file without converting it. I will install 2008 to co-exist with 2007
