as its only a true flase query wouldnt it be easier and more efficient to use an if else statment on the boolean value.

Browse All TopicsHi, in my stored procedure, I am passing a boolean as a parameter. When the boolean is true, I need to return all rows for which one field HAS a value (is not null). When false, it should just return all (and ignore the field). The snippet below is what I have so far.
This here actually got me results when the boolean was true, but then doesn't return any results when false:
and ( CASE @hasSRIAUM
WHEN 1 THEN tblSalesDesk_Institution.S
END is not null)
