Hanging application - vague event viewer log

I have a 3rd party application called Pigwin which is housed on our Windows 2003 server R2 SP1 being used via terminal services.  Inside of the program, when certain actions are performed (mainly running of reports) we have an application hang.  When I view the event log, I see the following generic error:
