I have a bunch of items that I inventory every month. So every month I count how many items leave and how many items arrive and have to update a spreadsheet. I was wondering if there was a way to automate these using some sort of barcode system. They do not have barcodes or anything to really identify them, but custom bar codes are fine.
What I would like to accomplish is this:
Scan items to some type of database and have a check-in check-out system. That way whenever an item is borrowed I scan a custom barcode and it counts down. When an item arrives I scan the same barcode and it counts up. Is there any way to do this. Not looking to spend TOO much money either
