AVG vs ComboFix

Hello Experts,

I am a ComboFix user since the very beginning of this nice disinfection tool,
but in new releases of combofix there is an annoying thing going on with it.
now combofix force user with an alert to uninstall AVG in order to continue.
i understand this, the authors of combofix findout that AVG interfere with it.
but these guys don't leave an options to users, they just want you to uninstall and thats it.
the big frustration sometimes is when AVG give errors when trying to uninstall as i have
seen this several times, and is very annoying cuz you have to pay a price just to run this
combofix on your machine, cuz you see error after error when uninstalling AVG, what a pain.

Then i came out with an idea of stoping AVG... process and services...
Now this is my question cuz till now i haven't try this out yet, could this be a good idea?
i mean instead of uninstalling AVG, but the son of magan of combofix keep saying that AVG
still there, is there any other way arround to solve this issue or problem?
