Hi Everyone;
Last night, I ran AVAST on my backup computer. I also scanned an external harddrive hooked up to this pc. The results of the scan indicated errors in reading various files within System Volume Information Folder on the backup USB harddrive. I do have system restore turned off for both the c drive and the backup drive to help remove any malware found within the System Volume Information Folder. Since AVAST had difficulty reading various files within the System Volume Information, does that mean these files could possibly be infected?
Any followups to this question will be appreciated.
