Your machine will shut down in x seconds ......... virus

Its been a while since Ive seen this but its doing it on a fresh install of my op sys - dooh.

did shutdown -i   and added 99999 and thats worked.

What the best application to sweep the machine for this bug?  Running symantec blaster removed but I recall this not finding the problem on another machine - i.e. perhaps it had the x seconds shutdown but it was not the blaster.

Will Avast catch it or do I need a specific ap?

What does this virus do again?
