Error opening www.mail.yahoo.com...

Hi friends !

I have an internet cafe with 12 computers running XP Home (OEM License) on all of them. For antivirus software, I have installed Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0.3.837 Workstation and it is working fine. The web antivirus is set to recommended.

Now internet is also fine on all PCs. BUT, I am having problem with www.mail.yahoo.com while www.yahoo.com or yahoo.fr are opening FINE.

In some PC, this website is opening fine but in others I am getting the following message (both in Firefox and Internet Explorer 8).

I have attached the screen shots. Please see them and help me sort out this problem.

Something is wrong with the SSL Certificate and both Mozilla and IExplorer Block the access due to security reasons!
Maybe by cleaning your internet cache - cookies and all the other stuff it's going to be ok

Well...I deleted all the cookies and other temporary internet files with CCleaner but the problem was there.

Then...I noticed that the clock of the computer is set to 24 September 2002. And that is why certificate was not valid for www.mail.yahoo.com.

When I changed the date to the current date, I found that everything is OK. Now, I noticed that when I shut down the PC and start it back, the clock's date changes back to year 2002. I don't know how to resolve this problem.

Is it CMOS battery problem ? Do I have to change the battery ?

Of course you can change the cmos battery but before changing it i would suggest you clear cmos (usually you have to move a jumper located in your motherboard - you should check your manufacture user guide to see where is located) re enter the values save and exit from bios and check again the clock !
