Kaspersky installation error Windows server 2003 SP2

When I try to install KAV 6 on a server I get the error . When we get to the point at selecting an install directory and choose the default option the error message 'You selected an invalid target folder or drive. Application must be installed on the local hard drive. It is not recommended to install the application into the root or system folder. The installation folder name should not exceed 200 symbols and connaot contain any special characters' appears.
The default location is C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers.
The version number is 6.0.3.837.
