Thanks Si, the AD sync of version 4 is not needed here (I am just controlling servers from this ePO server), so I am installing 3.6.1 with patch 4.
Is there a way of telling if the client is working properly with the ePO server? I find it difficult to tell if it still looking for the old 3.5 install.
Do the 3.5 agents work with 3.6.1?

Morning
Personally I'd do a new installation of ePO 4, but if you need to reinstall 3.5, then you will need to backup the key pairs or you will need to push out the Agents again from the server and recreate the policies
Otherwise, keep the same machine name and keep the same IP address
ePO 4 is better as you can synch your Active Directory and have ePO deploy the agent and AV to new machines when they are created in AD.
You can also set it up so that when machines have not checked in for 3 days (or however long) you can get ePO to redeploy the agent automatically
If you can't get in to ePO 3.5, then you are pretty much stuck with a new installation
Let me know if you need anything else
Cheers
Si
