The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Need Comparison of Major Corporate Anti-Virus Software

My company needs to buy a new corporate anti-virus program. I have been looking at Symantec, McAfee, and Trend Micro. We only have about 20 computers in the company.

According to what I have read, McAfee seems to be the best.

I use Norton Anti-Virus in my personal computer at home and I haven't had any problems with viruses and the program hasn't affected my computer's performance, but I've heard many people who complain that Norton eats up a lot of memory. Although Symantec was my first choice, I don't know if it's worth it because it's more expensive and could affect the computers' performance.

I would like to know how these programs compare in different aspects (such as performance, removal success, ease of use - interface, admin interface, etc.), specifically Symantec and McAfee.

Also, do you recommend buying other tools, such as a hardware firewall (Fortitran or something like that), Websense, etc.?Start Free Trial
