Tried that with Symantec. Turns out installing it via RDP caused the installation to be corrupt. Symantec had me uninstall it and re-install it while logged in locally; this resolved the issue.

I'm not sure whether this will still work in Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition v10, but maybe you will just give it a try. Make sure that the Symantec System Center (SSC) is closed. Now open regedit and navigate to the following key:
E\INTEL\LA NDesk\Viru sProtect6\ CurrentVer sion
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
Look for a value named "ConsolePassword" (Type RegSZ). Delete this value (do not set the value to an empty string but delete the value "ConsolePassword").
Now open SSC and try to unlock the the server group with the default password 'symantec' (without the quotes).
As mentioned this did work with previous SAVCE versions and I'm not sure whether this is an option in v10.
Good luck!
