which antivirus for Domino server?

Domino Server 7.0.2, currently running Symantec for Domino server 5.1 over Windows 2003 R2
I'm looking to replace my entire AV system for all desktop\servers and got to these products: Kaspersky & NOD32
now both support Domino server but I can't get reviews on their performance running Domino server.
any data will help

See if you can get  a 30 - 60 day Full demo and test them out.

I am using The same AV you are for now.

I hope this helps !

I use NOD32.. fabulous, inexpensive and the regular version works on windows 2003 server - no separate server license.   However, if you want to manage, then you have to get a server interface.

The only thing I see with NOD, is larger attachments might time out on the client (POP mode)

But, I LOVE NOD compared to the others with BIG footprints.
Good luck with testing these products.  If they don't work for you give TrendMicro a shot.  We've been using it for years in our Domino environment with great results!

Try Mayflower Software's SpamSentinel.

The anti Spam module  is excellent but I have no experience of the AV plug in for it.

no one gave real input on what product and why is it better..
You will probably need to get an EVALuation version and test it for 30-60 days on your servers.

Each environment is different, and depending on your needs you are going to have to decide what is best for you.

If your Servers are old and slow, I can definitely say to stay away from Symantec, as it tends to be a resource hog, but runs fine on a lightly loaded ( 1000 Users ) with Dual CPUs and 2 GB of RAM.

I hope this helps !

I choose NOD32, implemented and happy with the result
I did have few problems with Domino server and IBM's MQ series server but generally speaking it is a very easy to use and highly recommended product
I had no performance OR administration issues with NOD32, which is why I recommended it over the other programs that I've used.   I'm not sure what chuku wanted with regard to "reviews" other than a comparison between the programs, ease of use, robustness.

The most I could offer is a comparison between products I have used in past and the one I selected for my own environment, which turned out to be far superior than the others in that it didn't battle with the Domino server for rights to mail.box, which in other applications, is a severe performance hit, and in some cases, actually caused the server to go down, or send it into a loop between mail.box and the virus system.

I would venture to say that most will only have experience with one or two systems, but without running these side by side, it would be impossible to provide a valid  "performance" comparison.
Well I consider any experts opinion on software that they have actually used, as a review, only better, since you can ask the reviewer questions !!
