I have read the experiences with ( 67yujhnm ) recounted in the past. I currently have this erratic behaviour when it so chooses! MacfeeAV Enterprise running latest engine & DAT and latest Spyware Doctor both find no related instance.
Any assistence welcome please - WXPSP2 Toshiba SatellitePro 4600.256MB RAM (max for this age of hardware). I have read the experiences recounted in the past. I currently have this erratic behaviour when it so chooses! MacfeeAV Enterprise running latest engine & DAT and latest Spyware Doctor both find no related instance.
This hardware was formatted from scratch and image deployed from Microsoft Genuine advantage CD media - no network connectivity to the internet. Powered on and hey presto using FILE explorer and IE browser exhibit the dreaded 67yujhnm ... which later becomes derived changes and meaningless characters destroying meaninful use of the laptop based on its own keyboard input.
Any 'experts' at home? - none of the 5 instances referenced to in experts exchange have proven good as resolutions?

rpggamergirl is right. You mentioned that you have the Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600. This seems to be a common problem with the keyboard on that model. Try cleaning the keyboard with a can of compressed air first. If that doesn't work, contact Toshiba about this. If the laptop is under any kind of warranty they should replace it. Plugging in an external keyboard is a workaround but not a fix.

The problem exists with an external keyboard (and so is not a workaround) when in use and or with USB mouse, with or without the existing keyboard connected.
The hardware is of an age where it's out of warrenty.
While it usually initiates as 67yujhnm the continuing input to application, spell check in MS Office apps, browser. IE 6.0 and file explorer is anything once on the go...- triggering, highlight rename and or delete selected entry actions.

Ok all - I've discovered by following up with my own investigations the hardware socket for the keyboard connection ribbon to be respnsible.
1. with ribbon in, depending on it's proximity to more than one contact area it can bridge contacts a manufacturing tolerance variation that can kick in whenever.
2. with no keyboard ribbbon connected and using an external keyboard the problem can manifest itself also as the ribbon is so thin when present. When no present it's possible for the opposite edges to offer a bridge and repeat the problem. Putting some paper in the connector stopped this instantly.
I have now used it like this for a few days trouble free, so it looks as though I'm there, thanks for the suggestions all

What have you tried?
Have you tried replacing the keyboard? the mouse? people with the same issue seemed to be caused by hardware problem with either the mouse, keyboard, etc.
