How can I remove Nortons and/or AVG free8.0

My attempts at removing Nortons Security scan(Free) is met with "Uninstaller will not work because another version is installed.  Running the "find" tool in the registry finds NOTHING.

Same with AVGFREE8.0.  I did manage to remove many traces of this one in Regedit>find.  Then no more traces.  However in C>Programs>, there sits a big fat full folder of AVGFree8.

Pcs owner had 4 AV programs on this machine.  I need to remove all traces and install something clean and fresh.

Can anyone tell me a way to remove these hidden traces.  Even REVO cannot get them all.  Also my version of Symantic tools does not contain a remover for this invasive free trap of Nortons.
