Website and virus

I maintain a school website and a few days ago I got a message from Google to say that they would be flagging it as suspicious - which they did if you searched for it in Google. I followed their guidelines and then asked for a review. The site seems to have past the review and is no longer flagged by Google.

My problem is that if I go directly to the school site via the browser address it displays, if I search Google and like a link form the results I get redirected to a fake online scanner advertising Antivirus 360.

I have checked it on 3 different computers and get the same result. I'm currently downloading the site to my laptop so I can run anti-virus/malware scans on it.
Is there any thing else I should be looking for? I just a bit confused that a direct link to it doesn't redirect but a search engine link does.
