Delayed keyboard response

Greetings all

I have a somewhat strange problem ...

Over the last two days I have noticed an unusally sluggish keyboard response. If I am typing, it happens that only every 3rd chaarcter or so appears on the screen. As an experiment, I typed a key, counted (1-2-3) then pressed the next key ... that works ... anything lss than that an letetrs are skipped.

The only software change that has takenplace in the last two weeks was an upgrade from AVG7 Antivirus (Free) to AVG 8 (Free). I have also done a full scan, but nothing was picked up.

Does anyone have any ideas?
