Hi Bnusir,
You can install Symantec clients in various mannors.
1.) Install manually via the VPHome share on the AV master
2.) Using the console on the Master server run the Client Rollout utility, and define your clients, the app will then roll out over the top of existing clients.
3.) Use GPO or some other scripted method of delivery. Something like this, Create a batch file and place the following into it \\SERVER NAME\vol1\nav\nav_10.2_cli

Hi Bnusir,
No upgrading the server to the new version will not affect your currnent clients. You will after a little time see them apear in the console as before. The only real diff that 10.2 offers is the vista compatability. You may also want to know that Symantec are at the RC1 stage for their new version End Point Protection 11 which will replace the current SAV/NAV role outs.
The easiest way is to un-install the current SAV colsole on your master SAV server and install the latest server. Once completed, you can then update your existing clients from the VPHome share as before.
