Migrating From Symantec Corporate 10.x to End Point Protection 11.x

We purchased Symantec Mutli-tier Protection for 70 users. We Currently run Symantec Corporate Anti-Virus 10.x. We do not want to use any of the mail security features, but just the End Point for client scans. I have installed endpoint on the same server and tried using the migration tool, but to no luck. Inside symantec System Center for 10.x  there is two servers groups, one of which belongs to another company in our building, however i think it was a dummy or a goof because they are not even on the same domain as we are and we never share software. I cannot unlock this other group and delete it, but our server group is the primary anyways and i can unlock that. Can anyone please help me understand a little more on how to do this migration/upgrade and possibly how the licensing is entered into the new software?

Server information: Windows 2000 Server - SP4
Using built in Database from end point (vs. mysql)
