Yes, I attempted the part where it explains how to backdate the definitions manually.

Browse All TopicsHi, I have a client who is running Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 9.0. Just the other day, the server that is running the Console started having issues. The Symantec Antivirus service wouldn't start. Whever you attempt to start the service, and error appears in the application log which says "Symantec AntiVirus services failed to start. Virus definition file is invalid. (CC001000)" I followed the symantec article to backdate the definitions manually, however this didn't seem to work. The article says to delete all definition folders except for one, which will be the definitions that you backdate to. However, I only have 1 definitions folder in this directory which apparently corrupt. What do I do at this point?
