The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. XP Machine - Spyware Infected, hosts file read only - hijack this

XP Media Center PC with core message ...
A popup box is displayed on startup ...
> MP2P servent main executable has encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Three other popup boxes are displayed ...
> Softwrap file error
> Error Loading CTMBHA.DLL - a dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed
> An unexpected error occurred. Error: 80070005
When I run hijack this, I get a message saying that the hosts file is read only. On examination, the hosts fiel is read only and contains a load of 127.0.0.1 redirects
