Ok, I'm totally confused with this issue. I have a user who is receiving an error message on her Windows XP box. It is a standard Windows error windw, except it's very small. All it says is Error at the top with a close out x in the top right corner. In the body it is the Windows Red Circlue with a clear X through it. Then the only click button at the bottom is OK. When I run Task Manager to query the culprit, it shows the process as csrss.exe which I know to be a vaild (and important) windows process. The other forums I've read say that some spyware can hijack that process, but usually it creates a duplicate process so you would have 2 csrss.exe's, instead of the single one that she has. I've run Malwarebytes full scans and our AV solutions scans without finding any offending programs. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
