I need to recover my skype password saved on my computer, Is there a way to do so like we can do it in yahoo messenger and msn messenger
I am using skype as an instant messenger , I need to recover my password from my computer on which I was signed in automatically as my computer starts, now somehow it is not signing in and i forgot my password. Skype is demanding few verifications but i forgot that too. Please let me know if i can recover this from my computer somehow like the same we can do it with yahoo messenger and msn messenger.

Hi, your suggestions were very much correct . I got the email and the username. But it did not worked for me becasue skype will send password to the mail but that mail i dont use for last 1 year.
Thats why i was looking to retrieve the password rather than asking from skype care. I am still talking to them and looking forward to retrieve the password.

I forgot my username / e-mail address / password:
With a username and an e-mail address, you can send a request for a new password to Skype.
To receive the password, make sure your SPAM settings are right.
Also make sure the e-mail address you signed up with, is still in use.
Though if you dont remember your username and e-mail address anymore, below are listed some suggestion to help you to remember and/or retrieve them.
1) Username / e-mail address: Enter %AppData%Skype in browser or Explorer address bar. Double click user folder, double click, or open (with Notepad), profile 256 or 4096. Email address and user name should be there.
2) Username: do a Skype search for your own username and fill in as much as possible
details. Sometimes you have to do more search options then one.
3) Username: send one of your contacts of whom you also know an e-mail address, a request
to look for your username in his/her contact list.
4) Password: in case you´re using the Firefox browser and have ticked "save passwords" in
"preferences" ... it´s there.
5) When all this isnt of any help, there is a final solution: if you have a paid service with
Skype, Skype Staff can retrieve your user name / e-mail address but needs billing details
like part of your Credit card number, PayPal account info you need to send a support request from here http://support.skype.com/?
