I am trying to setup a ventrilo server for LAN use on a local machine. I noticed that the newer copy of these servers do not tell you "accepting connections at this address ***.***.***.*** " I can't even connect to the ventrilo server with the server and client on the same machine. Before you used to be able to specify an IP address that the program would use. all firewalls have been disabled. It won't connect even using LOCALHOST, or the IP that is listed when you do a IPCONFIG. all the games talk through it just fine.. not sure whats going on... Gotta find something to do while deployed to Iraq...
