Sophos Antivirus service won't start

Hi All-
One of those MSN messages loaded with virusses were spread out on our network, we managed to stop them from spreading by blocking domain, however all infected machines ( running Sophos ) are now showing error "Sophos Anti-Virus service is not running", we managed to get Malware bytes running and it\s picking up some virusses now, but we need to restore sophos.
Can someone please advice?
