Unknown Skype Contact

My Skype has occanionally added a lot of contacts that I don't know without my approval. Currently, I need to go to each unknown contacts and block them expliclity. Is there a way to prevent them to add into my Skype automatically without my pre-approval first ?

does anyone else use your skype account from there computer.  What commonly occurs is the you open up skype and your outlook contact as imported...just wondering if a fried, coworker, family member used you account and happen to import their outlook contacts into skyp

No, all those accounts added into my Skype are totally unknown. The computer is used only my me. In addition, I don't have any contacts in my Outlook. Any idea ? Tks

Yes, I have already clicked this option but it seems no useful.

Is there any option in Skype to ensure any new contacts will be first pre-approval before adding to the Skype automatically ?

That actually should be the way it is, so there may be an issue with the install or account.  However, give one of the skype partner a call and they should be able to help.

It seems that there is no partner that I could contact. I'm in HK.

I remember that Skype should ask me to agree whether to add the new contact if someone sends me a invitation. However, it doesn't appear recently and new contacts add into my Skype without my permission. Is it really normal ?

You can call, on skype, a rep in the UP.  Skype should not be adding anyone without your confimration
