There are no blocked packets in the log files showing port 80 or 443 when testing with a specific user. There were attempts made with other ports, but I do not want to open anything else. From everything I have read, 80 and 443 should be all that is needed anyway.
I am thinking we may just flip a secondary physical port over to DSL for this particular user, bypassing the firewall completely. Still, as more users request Skype, I'll probably run into this problem again.
Any other suggestions? I couldn't find any articles stating that Skype connects to this IP address, or range of addresses, each time when logging in. Ideally, that is what I would need. Skype seems to be a moving target.

Hi,
Can you see blocked packets in your logs? If not, turn on logging for all your rules as a temp measure and attempt the connection again - please post back your findings. Normally Skype should not need any special ports opened.
Thanks
