Block outbound port 25 traffic Linksys WRT54GX2

Hi everybody,

We have an Exchange Server 2003 and were on a couple of blacklists.  To prevent this from happening again, I would like to block outbound port 25 traffic from the workstations but obviously I would still like to be able to send out mail through our exchange server.  We're using a Linksys WRT54GX2 router. How we can configure it to do this?

I think this router allows you to block by ip only and not port.
Still let me take a look on my console of that router.

I think you cannout.
If you use 3rd-party firmware such as DD-WRT then you can.

Hi Tango01,
 you can actually block services outbound/inbound (in your case outbound), port 25, on your WRT54 router.

Check page 26 & 27 of the router manual attached here.

I've found that the firmware in my router was corrupted, So I downloaded the latest version from Linksys to refresh the old one, then I tried again to block the outbound traffic and it worked! Thank you very much 602650528 for your suggestion!
