Also you can use the default file control instead.
Point to the directory and let the user select the files which he wants to copy. then you can copy them .
Im have a vb6 six application that uses the common dialog box to select files from a directory to process and then copy to another directory. This worked fine when I was only dealing with small numbers of files that I could select one at a time. Now my volume has increase and I would like to automate the process by assembling a list of files and then steping through them like a list and apply my processing. Any help s appreciated.

Hi,
So what is your actual need? Do you just need to list all files in a specified folder using VB6 code? If so, please try the following code. In this example, the recordset (rsFSO) will contain the list of files with all its properties and sorted on last modified date from the C: Drive.
