Even sa-update I don't understand! It seems to write the new rules to /var/lib/spamassassin, yet I think sa is using /etc.mail/spamassassin. Am I supposed to copy over the files from one dir to another??

Browse All TopicsSome Spam is still getting through even with required_score set to 5. So I want to lower it to 3.4 (most spam getting thru seems to be getting a 3.5 score).
So I edit /etc/mail/spamassassin/loc
I stop and restart spamassassin, yet when I check message headers, they still say "required score 5.0". Is there another place where I need to check where the score might be set??
This is a sendmail system, with spamass-milter, spamassassin (3.1.8).
Thanks in advance!

That should have worked however rather than lowering the score I would recomend that you look into what additional plugins you could use.
