Hi,
How can I check to see if spamassassin is checking incoming mails with Blacklist server.
My spamassassin version is: 3.2.5_2. and I have these files in /etc/mail/spamassassin/
init.pre
local.cf
razor-agent.log
v310.pre
v312.pre
v320.pre
sa-update-keys
Now which file need to be changed to enabled Modules like URIDNSBL? and what is the difference between v3**.pre files? because at some place it says change v310.pre and some place v320.pre
Once I enable how can I check logs etc to see if it's working.
Is there any way I can send spam from some famous blacklist severs or their listed IP or some other method so that I can see what it is doing with blacklisted IP.
my local.cf file contains:
skip_rbl_checks 0
and init.pre file has uncommented the line:
loadplugin Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin
now is there anything else to do?
I have attached the file 20-dnsbl-tests.cf file

This is what I have 50_scores.cf
score URIBL_AB_SURBL 0 1.613 0 1.860 # n=0 n=2
score URIBL_JP_SURBL 0 2.857 0 1.501 # n=0 n=2
score URIBL_OB_SURBL 0 2.132 0 1.500 # n=0 n=2
score URIBL_PH_SURBL 0 2.035 0 1.787 # n=0 n=2
but it has 4 numbers 0, 1.6, 0, 1.8
does the first 0 mean it is switched off? also why it's now showing anything in maillog as I have pasted the maillog in the above post

You should only have to add the line about skipping rbl checks, but you already have that:
skip_rbl_checks 0
Is URlDNSBL checking not working? Look in your /var/log/maillog file to see the results of the scans. You should also raise up the score on those tests to make sure they are high enough to trigger the message as spam:
score URIBL_AB_SURBL 10
score URIBL_JP_SURBL 10
score URIBL_OB_SURBL 10
score URIBL_PH_SURBL 10
score URIBL_SBL 10
score URIBL_SC_SURBL 10
score URIBL_WS_SURBL 10
In my setup if score is 5 or higher it's tagged and 10 or higher it gets rejected.
How are you running SA, as a stand along milter or as part of another package? For MIMEDefang I had to add "$SALocalTestsOnly = 0;" to the config to get it to do the network tests.
