Browse All TopicsHello,
I am getting some spam about 20 messages a day on one of my domains on my server.
I would like to set up the 'Switch on SPF spam protection' but do not want to over do it and start blocking good email. Can you please give me a heads up of which settings I should set for the below fields.
SPF checking mode -
only create spf headers, never block
use temporary error messages when you have DNS lookup problems
reject mail when SPF resolves to "fail"
reject mail when SPF resolves to "softfail"
reject mail when SPF resolves to "nutral"
reject mail when SPF resolves to "pass"
SPF local rules [ include:spf.trusted-forwar
SPF guess rules [ ]
SPF explanation text [ ]
Thanks!

I would just turn on blocking for Fail and SoftFail. Leave Neutral and Pass to come through.
Not sure about local rules - not familiar with Spam Assasin.
