Maybe this is interesting:
http://www.eudora.com/tech
Inserting URL or mailto link in a new message
Document ID: 1311HQ
Open a new message Type in a URL, http://www.eudora.com/tech
Type in a mailto link, mailto:eudora@qualcomm.com
Enclose the URL or mailto with less than, greater than symbols, <>
These will show up as clickable links when recieved by the recipient
And maybe you need to use / instead of \
so:
http:ip_adres/directory/fi
I already looked at the Eudora tech support, that didn't help. If I do http:// it attempts to open the path in internet explorer, which is not what i want.
Another note: The location is on a mapped drive on every PC here.
I create a test html file on my desktop that looks like this:
*********
<html>
<a href="file://servername/di
</html>
*********
and this synatx has worked for me...
I open the HTML file in a browser, highlight the "CLICK HERE" and copy/paste it into the Eudora message.
