Netscape and Thunderbird have similar email format. So exporting and importing emails are easy. Follow the procedure for Mozilla Suite and Netscape here
http://kb.mozillazine.org/
For address book, export as CSV file. Then Thunderbird can import the CSV file into address book

What browser is the user using in old computer? Follow the instructions for exporting and importing bookmarks to Firefox

Hope this helps!
