Exchange 2007 should have generated its own SSL certificate.
You need to ensure that you have TCP port 443 forwarded to the server, then just try browsing to https://yourserver.domain.
Assuming you have setup the server right, that should do it. If not, then we will need to do more work on it.
Thanks a lot for your early response, I typed in https://www.ec3global.com/
On the server where exchange 2007 is installed i typed in https://ec3.ec3global.loca
You need to make sure that tcp port 443 is forwarded to that server from the outside world - you make this change on your firewall
then, your users will be able to go to https://mail.ec3global.com
There is not point asking for port 80 to be opened, so yes, cancel that request.
OWA is already working, you are having firewall problems, not exchange problems
your mail server is not answering on port 443, so there is something not right - if you need to request that port 80 be opened, I would ask the same people to open 443 instead
Regarding the Dns spliting which i have mentioned earlier ( I have splited the DNS, created a host A record which is pointing to the external IP address of the website 203.110.152.58), now i have two forward lookup zones one is pointing to ec3global.local and the other is to ec3global.com.
Just wondering should i take out ec3global.com zone or leave it there
