Outlook Express 6 back up data from Sent Items folder getting Data Error Cyclic redundancy check message

Asked by MalcolmBishop in OE-WindowsLive

Tags: , ,

Outlook Express 6 back up of all folders following Article from Microsoft ( ID 270670). It works OK until it gets to the SENT ITEMS folder and then I get Error Message...Data Error Cyclic redundancy check.
I have manually checked that all the other Folders have copied OK to my new Backup Folder and eveything seems OK apart from the Sent Items folder.
I have closed OE 6 and all other programs and tried copying the Sent Items folder several times with Copy & Paste but still the same Error message appears after about 2 minutes.
The Sent Items folder is 1,287,946 KB in size. Could that be the problem?
Thanks for your help.
