Can't setup two email accounts on two pcs

Hi,
I've spent hours with technical support trying to add a new "Vista Microsoft Mail" email account on a pc, which has an email account already setup.  There is another "main" wireless pc in the house with email working fine.  Is there some probllem to have two email accounts [the same ones] on two pcs?   The ISP is "Windstream" in Canton, Ga.  I've setup many email accounts, so it must have something to do with having two pcs on a wireless network or a virus protection program interfering with the setup.    Please advise.
