Outlook express is losing all my emails in Inbox

Hi

Since last few days, I have a problem with Outlook Express. I have WIN XP SP3 with
more than 10 GB space free on my hard disk and 512 MB RAM.

Outlook express downloads my emails in the Inbox & suddenly the body of the message
is not displayed anymore. I get an error message that outlook express has not
downloaded the message and try downloading again.

However the email is not present anymore the server as it is downloaded on my system
but I cannot view the message anymore though the sender info & the subject of the message
is displayed.

Can you please help me ?

I have already done the following. I moved all the messages from inbox folder to a
temporary received folder and deleted the inbox physically from the system.
After that I reopened the outlook express thereby creating a new inbox and
then I recopied the emails not being displayed to the inbox, however I have not
been able to recover the body of the messages

Please note that I am using Outlook express and not Microsoft Outlook
