Are you sure that applies to Outlook Express?

A clients PC died but we have managed to trnasfer over most of the data including the emails from OUtlook Express (by transferring the data store).
On the new PC we started using Outlook 2007 instead and imported the emails across.
Note that old and new PC are Windows XP Pro.
However the client wants to have all of the auto complete data they had in their OUtlook Express on the new PC.
How can this be acheived?

Negative, Outlook Express does not have or create a nickname file. My apologies. That being said, there's not much you can do about the auto-complete. Now that this user is using Outlook you can encourage her and just let her know that through time the Auto-Complete cache will build up again.

Cheers.
OK thanks. In this particular case the client viewed the "Auto Complete" within their Outlook Express as their address book and are keen to get it back.
Some of the email addresses they only know the start of.
I was thinking there must have been somewhere this list was stored and is there someway (even with a third party app) that it can be retreived.
Althoug the old PC died we do have the harddrive. As said the datastore imported fine (from OE to OE on the new PC), but not the auto complete.

Outlook creates what's called a nickname cache. You just need to copy this file over to the new computer. See this website for exact instructions:
