I know in Outlook you can write a VBS script to automate account creation for new users - i.e. an ISP would give this to new users so the new user can just click on the file and have their email account setup in Outlook properly.<br />

I'm wondering if there's any way to automate setting up an email account in Thunderbird in a similar sort of way.

An email client, email reader or more formally mail user agent (MUA) is a computer program in the category of groupware environments used to access and manage a user's email.
