Microsoft Web Outlook requiring password every time I click on a folder in folder pane

I have Outlook web 2003 open from home. Everytime  after I put my name and password in it opens up. Then when I click on folder in folder pane to left say....inbox or open an email...then I have to put my password in again to view information I am requesting...really weird. I am using internet explorer 7 with xp service pack2 and it uses https connection and I am on windows 2003 domain at home accessing exchange domain web outlook at work

It sounds like each request looks like it's coming from your home domain not your work domain so you have to re-authenticate with each request. I ran into a similar problem connecting to resources with our parent company and in the end we had to set up specific trusts between our AD environments in order to eliminate the constant login demands from the resource we were trying to access.

Sorry for late reply....what happened is i saved the web outlook shortcut to the desktop as a mht extenstion....web outlook does not like that....created  favorite link in explorer then dragged to desktop......started to work fine after that...t
