Google gmail link

Hello Experts,

I have a user that uses gmail as its email system. His default page on the browser is Google of course.   Now when he clicks on the "GMail" mail link (http://mail.google.com/mail?tab=wm) is displays a blank screen.  User has your standard firewall/antivirus system and all looks good.  Does anybody know where else can I check to see as to why a specific link is not displaying?
