Hotmail versus Earthlink email problems

I am unable to recieve email from my hotmail contacts. I have earthlink. This problem started 12/1/07. The hotmail accounts can recieve my emails, but can not reply or create a new message.
They are not recieving any bounce back or other error messages to indicate their message did not go through.
All systems are using Windows XP, and Outlook ExpressStart Free Trial
