I am working on a project to help my company and our service techs that work out in the field on our MFP copiers/fax machines. I have some MultiTech FaxFinders200 which are small devices that send and receive faxes and forward them to email as tiff files. They work great but I want to automate them. I have a exe command line program provided by mutlitech that will run and read in a text file and based off the 1 line in the text file it will fax a tiff document out to the number provided in that text file.. I have no problem creating the batch file to accomplish this. What i want to have happen and my question is...when our techs use their cell phone to send a email to a computer with their fax number as the subject/first message line and the computer will extract that number and dump it into a text file and run my batch file.
Any Ideas how to automate ether outlook or any other email utility to do that?
