I attach a word document thru a internet third party provider e-mail program and others can not open it

Vista premiumn and office 2007 word. I send a word attachment and e-mail thru a third party web site and other's can view the information on the e-mail but can not open the 2007 attachment. I tryed sending in Word format, or 97-2003 format or template ,non of these work, do I need to use plain text format? I tryed disableing the firewall to no avail, and everything else works fine on the computer and I can open all attachments I send myself. It used to work just fine! Thanks

Maybe their email settings are not allowing attachments.

You already tried to change the format. Try send a PDF, I'm curious what happens.

I ran into this a while back and it was a problem with the Recipients internet filter. Disable that and try again. Might also try disabling the anti virus software for this test.
