The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Not receiving some emails

I commonly experience the following problems: Some emails sent to me do not arrive.
- I have notice for one sender, I never get his emails when he sends to a group.  Others do.  I only notice his email when one of the other recepients replies all
- Last night I friend sent me (soley) an email with an attachment.  When I told him, he resent it and I received it straight away
- Today an email sent, with an attachment, to me and this same friend did not make it to me.  My friend was able to successfully able to forward it to me.
I dont know how many other emails I miss.

Here's some information on my setup here.  I use Outlook 2003. (Have checked spam folder and none of those emails went there).  I use CA Internet Security. (I checked and couldnt find how to see whether there is an issue with this).  I have a Netgear Wireless Router (I checked and couldnt find how to see whether there is an issue with this).  My ISP is Optus.  But my Incoming Mail doesnt come through their server.  My personal website is listed as the server.

Hope someone can help, as this is very frustrating for me and those sending emails to me.
