Outlook 2003 - Kernel32.dll Error
I have a Windows 2003 Standard Edition server running Microsoft Office 2003. When I start Outlook I get the following error message :
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8312.0, stamp 4a403990, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4480, stamp 49c51f0a, debug? 0, fault address 0x000278d8.
Has anyone come across this before ?

Hi,
One more thing, which service pack are you using with Outlook 2003? because the kernal error was an issue which was resolved in later service packs.
Get the latest service pack & updates from Microsoft update website(not Windows update) and then recheck.

the strange thing is, if I login with my admin account Outlook 2003 opens without errors, if I login with a normal user Outlook does not open, not even in Safe Mode.
Hi,
OK, It could be the permission issue too. Make sure your user is member of local administrator group and if it already is then run a repair install of Outlook from the user where you are facing this problem.
It could also be the Windows user proifle corrupt, so If even it doesn't resolve then try to change your Windows profile and then recheck.
