Thunderbird showing double mails

Asked by carchitect in Leopard (MAC OS 10.5), Thunderbird Email Client, Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3)

Tags: Thunderbird

Hi

I am using Windows Xp Pro and Mac Leopard. I have installed Thunderbird as my mail client on both the OS.
I am using the same mail directory path in both the OS and able to see all the mails in both the OS.

The problem is if i download mails while in windows, and keep mails on pop3 server for few days and i login to Mac.

Mac doesn't recognise that these mails have already been downloaded and it download those mails again.

So, it shows each mail two times. How can i rectify this prob.Start Free Trial
