Are you sure that you had an @yahoo.com address?
If you sign up to Yahoo mail from the UK then you get a .co.uk address - you don't get any other option. The only way you can get a yahoo.com address is by using a machine physically located in the US, or having a very old account from when the service first launched.
As far as Yahoo are concerned, the co.uk and .com variants are two different accounts - so mail sent to the .com variant have either been lost or gone in to another account.
Shouldn't this be a question you ask Yahoo though?
