I've never had this problem with other mail servers.... will it take time for these ISP's to 'trust me' or will that never happen?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm sending emails to cell phones (which get converted into text messages) via an SMTP connection to SmarterMail v 6. I keep getting the following messages kicked back....
--------------------------
Could not deliver message to the following recipient(s):
Failed Recipient: mynumber@cellserviceaddres
Reason: Remote host said: 452 Too many recipients received this hour

Could not deliver message to the following recipient(s):
Failed Recipient: mynumber@cellserviceaddres
Reason: Failed to connect to the recipients mail server. No DNS information was found for the 'cellserviceaddress.com' domain.

Reason: Remote host said: 421 #4.4.5 Too many connections from your host.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix this? I was using Google SMTP but they limit the amount of messages I can send in 24 hours, so I setup Smartermail on my server instead. The messages are not spam. Each member has signed up for this service. Anything I can do?
Thanks!

This is an attempt by the recipient's ISP to block spam. You might try sending the message later. You may also try sending it from a different account/web-mail type account.
